Sport: Track and Field

Since I can remember, I have been involved in sports in some aspect. Just like most kids in my neighborhood growing up, sports was a way of life. I began running track in 7th grade and was involved in it to help with my basketball conditioning. I met Coach John when I was in 8th grade involved in tennis speed and agility. Throughout my high school years, I dedicated more and more time to track with the help of Coach John. By the time I graduated, my team and I were a 2X IHSA State Champions, as well as receiving IHSA All-State Honors 2X. 

I was able the attend the University of Illinois at Chicago, a mid major division 1 program competing in the Missouri Valley Conference. Currently I am a Junior at UIC, and have been fortunate enough to earn 4 school records in the 60M, 200M, 4x100 and 4x200. I have earned UIC Winter and Spring MVP Honors and look to continue this momentum into my senior year!

I am a finance major at UIC and have been fortunate enough to have gained hands on experience in my field of study to prepare me for life after college. I was able to intern at JTE Real Estate Services this past summer and work with their Accounting and Finance Team on major projects coming up to help reconstruct  a hospital into senior living, as well as working with their other entities to expand my knowledge.
